President Hashim Thaci reiterated on Monday that border adjustment is his proposal for a peaceful solution with Serbia. He made the comments after Speaker of Parliament and chairman of biggest ruling party, PDK, Kadri Veseli, opposed the idea of correction of borders.
Thaci called his proposal as a peaceful solution saying that this has nothing to do with the partition along ethnic lines. “My proposal for a peaceful solution with Serbia is clear: no partition along ethnic lines, but yes to the border adjustment and mutual recognition,” Thaci wrote in Twitter.
Veseli published on Monday an article on the idea of partition of Kosovo. According to Speaker of Parliament, Kosovo will become member of the UN, with its current borders. He said that every idea for partition is sponsored by Serbia to create new tensions and to send message to international community that Kosovo is not a stable country. /Express/
