The Court of Appeals says there is enough evidence for Azem Syla's trial GazetaExpress

After thirteen months, the Basic Court and the Court of Appeals have decided that there is enough evidence for the indictment in the case of former PDK MP Azem Syla and 38 other persons charged of organized crime and corruption.

According to daily Koha Ditore both the first and second instances of the court, have rejected the appeals of the accused to dismiss the indictment. The Appelate Court said that there are sufficient and evidence that constituted the grounded suspicion that Syla and others committed the criminal offenses that they are charged with. The court has requested starting of the trial in the first instance. In addition, sources told Koha Ditore that the trial is expected to begin next week. Former chief commander of the KLA, Azem Syla, and 38 other people are suspected of illegally expropriating public owned properties causing millions of euro damages to the state.
