Kosovo Minister of Foreign Affairs, Behgjet Pacolli, said that Kosovo will get new “qualitative” recognitions this year.

“We expect recognition from important states. These countries play an important role in Europe’s diplomacy,” said Pacolli in an interview with KTV. “The countries expected to recognise Kosovo are members of important organisations,” he said. Talking on Serbia’s campaign in convincing countries to revoke Kosovo’s recognition, Pacolli said that Serbia is just wasting time and energy by trying to convince different countries to withdraw recognition of Kosovo. He said that no country has derecognised Kosovo after Serbia’s lobbying. He said that only recognition from Surniame is pending. Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, said that he told Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic that Serbia cannot convince other countries to withdraw recognition of Kosovo.

Of course, every report has some recommendations. But it will be positive enabling EU member countries to take a positive recommendation on Kosovo,” Pacolli said during an interview with KTV.
