A day ahead of US Under-Secretary of State David Hale’s visit to Pristina, the prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj, said that Kosovo-Serbia problems will be solved soon.
Kosovo’s Prime Minister said that with solving of problems with Serbia, Kosovo will reach its goal to become member of the United Nations. He made the comments attending a meeting of a Kosovo Bosniac party. “I believe the difficulties with Serbia will be solved soon and all living in the region will have a better life. Also Kosovo will reach its goal, which is to become member of the UN as soon as possible, enabling Kosovo better economic development,” Haradinaj said.
Commenting on 100 percent tax on Serbian and Bosnia-Herzegovina goods introduced by his Government, Haradinaj said the decision is not against Bosnians. “The Kosovo Government’s decision is not oriented against Bosnian people, because you know our relations with Bosniacs in Prizren, as well as all Bosnians living in Balkans,” Haradinaj said.
US Under-Secretary of State David Hale during his visit to Belgrade on Friday called on Kosovo authorities to suspend tax and resume dialogue with Belgrade. Hale will visit Kosovo on Saturday when he will meet state leaders. Tax on Serbian goods and continuation of dialogue with Serbia are among hot topics that Hale is expected to discuss with Kosovo leaders. /GazetaExpress/
